Zero Heroes

The labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain

We never really had heroes to begin
They did it for more zeros and gain
Given the masses zero change, complains and pain
The truth is they bargained independence to eat the fruit,
To steal our oil, mistreat the youths, control lesser groups and loot, while we stay mute
The street flood with the blood of the young. Thugs using guns to put us in boxes while they steal ballot boxes.
Kneeling in church and bowing mosque praying to God to bless a land that is cursed.
We are just happy clowns in one big Circus.
Too much fog for the eagle to see us, too much load for the horse to lift us. The tears we cry still can’t clear the dust that blinds us.
Every year we hope and trust, we pray by fire and by force for the lord to raise us our Spartacus who is ready to pay the cost to get the freedom we lost. Till then let’s celebrate our heroes past.
